These Terms of Use set out the terms and conditions for accessing and using the Gedcom Tree site.
The platform allows users to turn a GEDCOM file into a visual genealogy composition, available as a free preview or as a high-definition premium version.
The renders generated are provided for guidance only and may vary depending on the quality of the imported file, the structure of the data and the graphic template chosen.
Access to the Gedcom Tree site is open to any user with an internet connection. Certain premium features may be subject to payment of a price displayed before confirmation.
The user remains responsible for the files they import, their content and the lawfulness of the data submitted to the service.
Frogiciel reserves the right to suspend, interrupt or restrict access to the site at any time, in particular for maintenance or security operations.
The user guarantees that they hold the necessary rights over the family data and files imported. The service's publisher undertakes to make its best efforts to ensure the availability and overall quality of the platform.
Frogiciel cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from use of the site, an incomplete source file, or the temporary inability to access the service.
GEDCOM files, family data and visuals produced from content provided by users remain the property of their respective owners. All other content on the site (text, images, logo, graphic elements, code, rendering templates) is the exclusive property of Frogiciel, unless otherwise stated.
Any reproduction, representation or distribution, in whole or in part, without prior written authorisation is prohibited.
Setting up hyperlinks to the Gedcom Tree site is subject to the prior written agreement of the publisher, except for a simple mention or sharing of the site without alteration.
The Gedcom Tree site may contain links to third-party services, in particular technical or payment services. The publisher exercises no control over the content of these sites and cannot be held liable for their content, their availability or any damage resulting from consulting them.
This site is governed by French law.
For professional users, any dispute relating to the interpretation or performance of these terms falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts within the area of the publisher's registered office.
The site may display advertising banners (Google AdSense) to help fund it. See the privacy policy for details on the cookies concerned.
